Marsh marigold

Description: Leaves are fleshy, rounded, and up to 10 cm wide. Large flowers occur on a single stalk.

Occurrence: Abundant in the mountains in snowmelt basins, rivulets, peatlands, and marshes. Flowers early in the growing season.
